Ladies and gentleman it is snowing in Paris. Snowing.
Forgive the lack of equanimity. After arriving in Paris this morning at 7am, fresh off of a 20 hour journey the sight of snow had me unexpectedly grinning in delight for a good 10 minutes. That was before I'd realised I had grossly misjudged and underprepared for the wrath of "The Beast from the East" aka "Siberian Bear" aka "the Snow Cannon" aka the Siberian chill sweeping Europe. So, yes, after a 20 hour expedition from Manila to what I have now discovered to be an accurate ursine metaphor, here I am talking about the weather.
If my weather commentary doesn't quite satiate your curiosities allow me to segue to a fond memory of single arm exposure, when hoodies and coats were merely accessories and not a vital tool in retaining control over motor skills (you want kids to get off their phones? Lower the temperature.). Here's my latest work with e-commerce retail force Matches Fashion where I styled twelve looks and photographed this story as we discuss the makings of the errands outfit and the lengths I will go to in order to match the ruby tones of an Attico dress to a glass of wine.
(Spoiler alert: they are extensive.)
We chat about those Proenza Schouler hammered earrings and why cascading style decisions based solely on a pair of LeSpecs x Adam Selman sunglasses is a perfectly acceptable (and in my case, celebrated) manner in which to get dressed in the morning.
Matches Fashion asked if I would create twelve looks from their 'Just In' edit meaning all of these beauties are available now! See the looks below.
