Miss Jones

[responsive_youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuX58luLL5M] Welcome to Miss Jones!

Here it is! After months of preparation and the last 48 hours of wanting to pull out my hair it is finally here! Codes, plugins and permalinks are not for the faint hearted, nor are they particularly pleasant to deal with at 1:00am. Amidst all of that, with the help of some very talented and patient people (Val Villar - thank you for everything) what feels like my 21st birthday celebration all over again is happening today via the launch of Miss Jones's new look. Of the site that is, not of yours truly. And of course, to celebrate (I warn you, I'm on a high and I will use that word a lot today. In my defence the thesaurus only gives "make whoopee", "put the flags out" and "kill the fatted calf" as alternatives and they just don't have the same ring to it) I wanted to do a little something extra special for you. I wanted to create a post that I've never created before, for you, my readers who have been so wonderfully supportive of this digital journey of mine I named Miss Jones.

Because it is a celebration, I feel the need to introduce some sentiment to the post. So here goes…back in 2010 when I bought a one way ticket I honestly didn't know where I would be lead and I most certainly didn't think I would be celebrating (there it is again) the relaunch of this blog that I've poured my heart and soul into. Nor did I ever imagine that you would be inspired by it. I am so grateful to all of you who keep finding a reason to come back. Thank you.

I look forward to hearing feedback from you all regarding the new look, please do let me know what you think!

In saying that, I welcome you once again to our new site and I encourage you all to stop, take a break and spend an "Afternoon with Miss Jones"
