Fedora

There are some days you just want to throw on a hat, do the duck face and pretend your levitating. I don't why. It just happens. 'Layering' for us folk who call cities next to the equator home just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Yet, come "Fall/Winter" our favourite retailers are stocked with a plethora of coats and the like.

I guess that's why the malls are always adjusting their air conditioners to freeze setting. (Am I only the one who feels like that?) Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, come summer time I am all over those sales racks, stocking up on coats I intend to wear during my first white christmas in New York. (I don't know when this will happen, but it will.) But when it's 35 degrees and the top, shorts and sandal combo just isn't quite doing it for me? Enter the fedora hat. The kind of hat that is happily perched on top of all our closets because it just goes with everything. Everything. Ok, not everything but it's a fail-safe addition to your outfit on the days you just want to "layer" and be lazy. And levitate.
