Day one of Philippine Fashion Week was a roaring success. I almost had a mini heart attack when I thought the crawling traffic would get me to the SMX Convention Centre after the first show had started. But thanks to some very clever maneuvers from my driver we made it there with time to spare. Dubai-based Michael Cinco’s russian doll inspired collection was moving. Dusted with precious stones and Swarovski crystals the finale was breathtakingly grand with delicate, lavish tulle that gave the entire audience a striking silhouette at the end of the runway.
