the third and the seventh
i have been waiting for something to inspire me enough to update my blog. i found it. this is astounding. alex roman brilliantly encapsulates two of the seven forms of art, originally categorised by georg wilhelm friedrich hegel and a century later, expanded on by ricciotto canudo. although the order is disputed, architecture and cinema are the third and the seventh. keep in mind the utter brilliance of this film relies on the fact it is entirely CGI. in layman terms; none of it was traditionally "filmed". yet he captured the purity of even the tiniest of details using this process. it's unbelievable, especially to a cinematic neophyte like me.
to be watched in full screen.
